I made Burning Man recently. I had just built an aggressive, dark beat and knew it was the new sound I'd been searching for, so I used it as an exercise for my writing.

The Edmonton rap scene is pitiful. I've watched people ask local rappers why venues don't book rap shows. The answer is that a lot of them suck, or have no self-respect or integrity. I've waited a long time to say something about it. Burning Man is my way of saying it.

I posted this to my Instagram story:

HONESTLY IM THE BEST RAPPER IN EDMONTON. I GOT THE BEST BEATS, THE REALEST BARS, THE MOST BANGING DRUMS AND IMPECCABLE PRODUCTION.

Could yall try a lil harder please? Where tfs the ambition? Where's the passion where are the dreamers who want to prove and build something???

Why am I the only one who feels this intense heat and pressure to succeed at a global level?

The heat is unbearable ive started to catch fire

I am the BURNING MAN

The Burning Man is me. It's the heat and pressure I feel to succeed at a global level, and I don't see anyone around me carrying it. It got so heavy I started to catch fire.

I produced, wrote, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered my track entirely myself, in my studio.
